The Clockwork Banshee is a virtuosic showpiece for two advanced flutists. The piece tells the musical tale of a mechanical spirit trapped within an ancient grandfather clock, attempting to sing a lullaby that inevitably glitches into a chaotic, ticking waltz.

The work opens with a precision-demanding staccato intro ("The Ticking"), establishing a 140 BPM mechanical drive. It quickly evolves into a quirky, angular waltz theme that demands tight rhythmic interlocking between the players.
