Named after the prehistoric genus of the Megalodon, Otodus is a terrifying contemporary etude strictly confined to the lowest, most physically resistant depths of the performer's range.
Rather than relying on frantic speed or soaring heights, this avant-garde masterwork demands ancient momentum and crushing acoustic weight. Written as a clinical observation of an apex predator, the score replaces traditional tempos with chilling, scientific text and biological directives. The performer must navigate heavy water displacement, a grinding rhythmic hunt, and the dead silence of the ocean floor—concluding with a literal maximum-volume jumpscare meant to simulate the instant collapse of a submarine hull.
